Truly A Tragedy!!

I have just read that Orlando Bloom is going to be doing some stage work for awhile! That is a true tragedy for the die hard fans like me!! I know that he feels that it must be done, but where am I going to get my hottie fix now?? He did say that he wouldn't turn down a 4th Pirates movie if they asked..but that is too long for me to wait!

I love it!! I just read a story where a 9-yr-old German girl held up a sign in her window, with her baby brother sitting beside her. The sign begged for someone to call the cops!! Turns out that the girl did not want to clean her room, had in fact fought with her mom over it, and decided to get the cops to help her get out of it. When the cops showed up however, they told her to clean her room! Those cops must have been parents too!! I wish I had thought of that when I was her age, that was trully masterful! On the other hand, I hope none of my kids think of it!!

Family News

Well it has been awhile since I have updated everyone on how we are doing here on the farm-so here it is. I have discovered that school goes really fast when you don't want it to end! The kids' last day is tomorrow and boy am I dreading it!! I love 'em but when they get bored they are a double handfull of trouble! Baseball is in full swing with the Pee-Wee boys creaming an opposing team 9-1 in their first game of the season! T-ball starts in 2 weeks and I am positive that if they did keep score at that age we would win those games too. At such a young age, they don't believe that keeping score is good for the kids though! What a load of bologna!! I am proud of my younger daughter as well as the boys...she has brought home several character awards this year..I believe she has won all of them in fact! Last but not least is my eldest who is such a beautiful clarinet player..she outdid me by her second day! If it wasn't for her turning into a teenager I would really get along with her!
My schooling is going very well also. I have one more week to go in my first set of classes and am still holding an A average. The final draft of my paper is due one week from today and it is already completed. I am writing my next paper on the different aspects of raising children-something I know quite a bit about-and would welcome anyone's input. If you find an interesting article please let me know!
My hubby has finally announced that the last of our goats has had her babies (twins again) and I have finally been able to let out a sigh of relief! The incubator is going full blast and we have already had our first hatching with the total number of chicks unknown because he lost count after 60! We have had a great baby season this year! Army worms are getting into the hay in our area..and for those of you that don't know..that is a very bad thing. They eat up the hay and what they leave is very expensive!

For $45 you can get your car washed by a topless babe and for a mere $90 you can get a nude carwash and x-rated lapdance! Gee that sounds like a bargain to me! NOT!! What is wrong with people? I know that this is one business that is going to make good money and that just sickens me!

The Simpsons

I think I am a very abnormal American or something but apparently the Simpsons are celebrating their 400th episode....and I hate every single one! These are crudely drawn cartoon cartoon characters with a penchant for violence and America has just fallen in love with them! They are ridiculous and I wish that they would just be pulled off the air to save all of us intelligent people the trouble of having to turn the channel when trash like that comes on the air!

Just Punishment

The best kind of parenting! A mother actually punished her son for getting in trouble at school..I love it! A 15 yr old boy got suspended from school for 10 days for goofing off in class and putting his teacher in a headlock. Instead of letting the boy laze around the house his mother had him on the side of the road picking up garbage while wearing a sign that said "I made a bad choice in school now I'm living with it" It is nice to know that not all parents are just letting their kids get away with whatever they want these days!!

The people of Palermo are in for the ride of their lives! The city has hired 110 new bus drivers and not a one of them has a license! Sounds like my preschool bus driver!

Why Bother?

Why do these people bother to get married if they are going to cheat? The latest news is that everyone, everywhere cheats but that most don't even feel guilty about it! Americans cheat more than the French but nobody beats South Africans apparently! As Americans, we feel guilty more than anyone else yet we still do it more! Stop the guilt! DON'T CHEAT!!

The Saddest Story

I have just read the saddest thing on the planet! A man in India is laying in a grave that he dug when his wife died. He has been in this grave for six years!! That is really romantic and sad! He is becoming a tourist attraction and that is kind of pathetic but the fact that he is doing this is really sweet and romantic. I hope I am loved that much.

Update

Hello to my fan (hi ma LOL). This is the family update...I am done with all my school work for the week! That means I have time to blog and work on my POGO badges for this week!! To top it off I am half way through with this term and I am still a straight A student! This means that I rock! The kids are doing well healthwise but my eldest is not going to pass this year and will remain a 5th grader next year. The others are bring home a's and b's though so that is good. Jr is really busy with work and summer chores. I am amazed at the amount of work he creates for himself sometimes. Last but not least...we now own a llama. I have named him Obama the llama. He is absolutely ugly but that is a llama thing. Well that is all from here for now. I will talk to everyone later!
